Rift Timber was established due to the recognition of a need for a timber trading company that truly puts their customer first . We see ourselves as production partners rather than simply traders, due to a wealth of expertise gained over decades in a variety of timber related fields.
This expertise allows us to ensure that our clients are purchasing the right product to suit their individual needs, rather than a general market specification. Resulting in optimization of their production and a reduction in input costs or a subsequently higher yield which translates into a satisfied client.
Our staff consist of a number of highly skilled individuals with a true passion for the timber trade. We have a diverse range of specialities from Hardwoods ( temperate and tropical) , Softwoods, Veneers and Panel products. Couple this with an in-depth knowledge of the markets throughout the Middle East and North Africa and we are in the right position to add value.
We chose Dubai to be our regional hub as it allows easy access to service our markets, as a result we keep a reasonable inventory of Sawn Hardwoods and sliced veneers in stock to service the regular needs of our customers. However, we do encourage a system of forward planning with the majority of our clients so they can benefit from the many advantages of directly importing various timber products through our established network of trustworthy suppliers.
